Welcome to our 5th annual Pictona Challenge by Emerge Insurance Services tournament played in the beautiful month of March. 700 players participated in the 2025 tournament. It’s a player’s format: round robin or pool play followed by a playoff in each category, so you’ll have plenty of opportunity to play.

Competition Events:
Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles, and Singles
Age categories:
0-14, 15-20, 21+, 35+, 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+, 70+, 75+
Skill levels:
For under 21: 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0+
For 21+: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 and 5.0
For 65+: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5+
Format:
Round robin or pool play followed by top 4 teams in playoff.
Number of games and points per game vary based on number of entries in each bracket.
Championship game 2/3 to 11
Awards:
Medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Tournament t-shirt for all players registered by March 1, 2026

Skill Rating: We recognize the DUPR skill rating. If you do not have a rating go here to complete a self-evaluation of your pickleball skill.

Parking: We have 400 parking spaces surrounding the Pictona Campus and an additional 400 spaces within 100 yards. Parking is free.

Amenities: You’ll play on 49 dedicated courts, each fenced in with 8 feet on each sideline and 10 feet behind the baseline. Superior LED lighting, optimal viewing of play for spectators on most courts, and lots of shade. Thirteen courts are under cover with a championship court that seats 1200. We have a restaurant (The Kitchen) and a concession (The Depot) that will appeal to your palette. Plenty water stations and toilets strategically located. The Pictona Player Shop awaits you with an outstanding selection of paddles and clothing. And we’ll top it off with “Pictona” hospitality provided by our experienced staff and super volunteers. Come experience pickleball paradise.

Food and Beverage Policy
Bottle fillers and water fountains are located throughout the Pictona Campus. Water and sports drinks are the only beverages permitted to be brought into Pictona and players may bring fruit and energy bars into the facility. We request no other drinks or food be brought into Pictona. The Depot (our concession stand) and The Kitchen (our restaurant) provide an appealing selection of items at reasonable prices. The purchase of food and beverages is a vital part of supporting the costs to operate the not-for-profit Pictona.

Dog Policy
The City of Holly Hill does not allow dogs on the Pictona Campus.

Refund Policy
Withdraw from the tournament for any reason before March 12, 2026 and we’ll refund your registration and event fee less a $25 service fee. Refunds will be processed at completion of tournament.
No refunds when cancelling after March 12, 2026
Prior to March 12, 2026, players may seek to transfer the registration to another person. A $5/event transfer fee must be paid to cover the non refundable software service fee from Pickleball Brackets.
