Leave winter behind to play in a dedicated senior pickleball tournament in pickleball paradise, Pictona at Holly Hill, part of the greater Daytona area where you’ll find the world’s most famous beach. The average temperature in February is 72 degrees. Play with players in your age and skill category from Canada, Mexico, and across the United States in a round-robin format.

USSP thanks Humana as our partner in the US Senior Championship Series for 2025. This is the first kick-off tournament and all players must be current members of SSIPA/USSP to participate. (Please be sure your membership number is in your player profile as MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED)

You’ll have the opportunity to play lots of pickleball and experience outstanding hospitality at a world-class facility. Pictona has 49 courts, 13 undercover, along with the beautiful MetroHealth Stadium that seats 1200 where playoff matches will be played.

Membership IS required to play in the North American Championships.
To join USSP, It only costs $20 per year.

Format Details:

MASTERS DIVISIONS (50+55+60+)
50 + – 64 / 3 teams will play a double round robin and not lead into playoffs. Medals are awarded based on results. Games are 2 of 3 to 11 win by 2
50+ – 64 / 4, 5 & 6 team brackets will play a straight round robin. 1 game to 15 win by 2. The top 4 teams will move forward. 1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3. Games to 15 win by 2 The winners will play for gold/silver and the losers play for bronze. The gold/silver will be best 2 of 3 to 11 win by 2 and the bronze match will be 1 game to 15 win by 2.
50+ – 64 / 7, 8 & 9 team brackets will play a straight round robin, 1 game to 11 win by 2. The top 4 teams will move forward. 1 vs 2 for gold/silver – will be best 2 of 3 to 11 win by 2, and 3 vs 4 for bronze with 1 game to 15 win by 2.
50+ – 64 / 10+ teams will play pool play. 1 game to 15 win by 2. The top 2 teams from each pool will move forward. 1 vs 2 and 2 vs 1 will play 1 game to 15 win by 2. The winners will play for gold/silver – will be best 2 of 3 to 11 win by 2 and the losers will play for bronze 1 game to 15 win by 2.

LEGENDS DIVISION(65+, 70+75+80+)
65+ – 80+ / 3 teams will play a double round robin and not lead into playoffs. Medals are awarded based on results. Games are 2 of 3 to 11 win by 2
65+ – 80+ / 4 and 5 team brackets will play a straight round robin. Best 2 of 3 to 11 win by 2. Medals are awarded based on results.
65+ – 80+ / 6 and 7 team brackets will play a straight round robin. 1 game to 15 win by 2. The top 4 teams will move forward. 1 vs 2 for gold/silver – games will be 2 of 3 to 11 win by 2 and 3 vs 4 for bronze with 1 game to 15 win by 2.
65+ – 80+ / 8+ team brackets will play pool play. The top 2 teams from each pool will move forward. 1 vs 2 and 2 vs 1 with 1 game to 15 win by 2. Winners will play for gold/silver – games 2 of 3 to 11 win by 2 and bronze will play 1 game to 15 win by 2.

USSP has a points system to award prizes to the top finishers each year (USSP members only). In the past, prizes with a retail value of $20,000 were awarded to the top 10 point winners in each age group for both men and women on an annual cycle. In 2025, the prize points will begin in January and run through the end of December.

No cash will be awarded.

Refund Policy

Refunds will be available up to January 31, 2025. All refunds will be charged a $15 processing fee. Emergency refunds will be based on documentation and tournament director approval.

This is an outdoor tournament and we will make every effort to complete all matches with covered courts if there are any weather-related delays
