Win together in the most innovative\, social\, and competitive team tournament.\n\nThe Southeast Regional Showdown is a Dream Ticket event and 2x (double) the Point System!\nAssemble your teams and compete in Minor League Pickleball!\n\nFORMAT:\nMinor League Pickleball is an innovative team competition where teams compete against each other in an engaging format\, with twists on traditional match-ups and scoring for games\, matches\, and tiebreakers. Teams compete against each other in Matches using the MiLP Team Format:\n\nMiLP is an ingenious gameplay format that brings men and women together on a level playing court. In the MiLP format\, team matches are composed of four 21-point games\, one women’s doubles\, a men’s doubles\, and the final two games consisting of mixed doubles. If both teams are tied at 2-2 after the 4 games are played\, they’ll go to a Dreambreaker™! In a Dreambreaker™\, one person from each team plays singles against the other team’s player\, switching players every four rallies until someone gets to 21 and wins by two points. Teams will compete in a round robin to a bracket playoff format\, with a guarantee of a minimum three full matches.\n\nThe Dink Minor League Pickleball Guarantee: Predictable playing times and reduced waiting periods between matches. Guaranteed 6 played games with at least 3 matches each. A fair\, level-based competitive experience – whatever your level of play!\n\n\n\n\nAdditional Information\n\n\n“Ratings Locked” Policy: When is a player’s rating locked?\nEach individual player rating is locked in once each individual player officially joins the team\, signs the waiver\, and pays their registration fee. If a player registers for multiple events\, the rating will lock for each independent event once they pay their registration for each specific event.\nPlease Note: Ratings are NOT locked in when the team captain registers; they are locked in individually.\n\nRules\nDUPR Divisions for 4-player teams:\nDUPR 18 (The team’s aggregate DUPR must not exceed 18.300)\n**Maximum individual player DUPR cannot exceed 5.100 to play in DUPR 18\nDUPR 16 (The team’s aggregate DUPR must not exceed 16.300)\n**Maximum individual player DUPR cannot exceed 4.600 to play in DUPR 16\nDUPR 14 (The team’s aggregate DUPR must not exceed 14.300)\n**Maximum individual player DUPR cannot exceed 4.100 to play in DUPR 14\n\nOnce a team registers for a Minor League Pickleball event\, their ratings are “locked” and their DUPR increasing or decreasing will not impact the team’s aggregate or division placement for that specific event.\n\nTo sign up for any Minor League Pickleball event\, a DUPR account is required at the time of registration. Play will take place at Let’s Go Pickleball & Padel Thursday\, August 27th.\n\nEvery division will compete in a Moneyball format. Players are guaranteed a minimum of 4 matches (1 game to 11 win by 1). The format of the medal round is determined by the Tournament Director based on number of registrants.\n\nThis tournament will not report scores to DUPR.\n\nPPA Contracted Players are permitted to compete in this event.\n\nIncluded in your registration cost is a free raffle ticket and a Serve for Strength high performance t-shirt. Additional merchandise and raffle tickets can be purchased on site.\n\n\n\n\nAdditional Information\n\n\nFORMAT\n\nOPEN MONEYBALL BRACKETS\nRules:\n\n– This is a coed bracket – both male and female players will be accepted\, based on their rating at the time of registration.\n\n– Play will consist of both gender and mixed doubles in one bracket.\n\n– Senior Pro\, Junior Pro and Amateur players are welcome (as long as they meet the criteria above).\n\n-Partner replacements are allowed until 6 pm the day before the event.\n\n– 1st place – 70% of prize pool\n\n– 2nd place – 30% of prize pool\n\n– 3rd place – Prize\n\n\n\n\nPrize Money\n\n\n50% of entries to the prize pot\, 50% to Serve For Strength. 1st & 2nd place split the pot– 70/30. 3rd place receives a prize.
